My career in cosmetology was built upon my aspiration to own my own business.   I’ve been a cosmetologist since 1978.  I studied at The Albert Beatrice School of Beauty Culture, a Redken SES School, in New London.  I worked in 6 salons in Massachusetts and Connecticut before becoming the owner & spokesperson for That Look on April 1st 1987.  In 1998 my husband and I purchased and renovated the old St. Mathias Church building for the salon. In 1999 I left my styling chair, to better focus on the day to day operations of the salon.
